Abby Erceg only confirmed signing I have heard of, NZ international. Still something like 25 players trialling with only 20 spots available

I thought the game today was quite promising.

Remembering that today was the first day that these players had played together and also the fact that the older players played in the first half and the younger ones in the second half....You also still have three other players away in New Zealand at the moment..

We looked solid in defence with the 2 New Zealand players at the back and with Gunning still to come over it should be very strong...

Looking forward to their next hit out which is next weekend against comets....time and place to be announced soon..

Would have been a decent result to be honest. That under 15 side finished comfortably top in the league and came 3rd overall in the regional Manchester United Cup. They've also been together as a unit all year playing a side that is missing a lot of players and has only been training a month or so.

I don't think any of us would reasonably have expected the girls to win and that the performance itself is what counts....

The only way I will be impressed is if the team gets some points on the board this season, and a lot more than 4 goals for, and a lot less than 40 against.

I have a feeling that it will happen, and we may just see a couple wins
