Don't worry, the lad will go back to his under 19s team this week assuming FFSA doesn't cancel because of pitch conditions.
He played way above the level expected in Div 4 reserves... But what do ya do, just gotta take it how it comes.

He had a cracking left foot. Fairly one dimensional player as he always went left. Our defence read what he was doing but he was just far too quick. Probably played too tight on him. Personally I would've given him a couple of yards and when he went left....easy tackle.

Yeah definitely, corral him on his left and jockey - doesn't leave him with many options. Manageable.

Is it not half suspicious when a USC affiliated forum user posts 'he probably wasn't registered' about this topic and then the post is deleted....

This Saturdays predictions:

Torrens Valley 5 vs 1 Adelaide Uni - Rams will make it 4 in a row.
Old Ignatians (2) 2 vs 2 East Adelaide - East Adelaide will be fresh after week off and snatch point away
Pitbulls 5 vs 0 Parafield Gardens - Gardens will struggle to get through Pitbulls defence.
Flinders (2) 3 vs 3 One Tree Hill - Flinders are capable of good football and will steal point from in-form hillbillies!
Greenock 3 vs 1 USC Lion - Greenock will be full strength at home and tough to beat.
Angkor 7 vs Mt Compass 5 - 1st and 2nd highest scorers in division. Neither side all that good defensively. Will be a goal fest.

Torrens Valley 4 vs 2 Adelaide uni torrens valley too strong here looking to strengthen a position in the top half
Old Ignatians (2) 3 vs 2 East Adelaide could be a close one with iggies struggling and easts improving
Pitbulls 6 vs 0 Parafield Gardens pitbulls will have a field day i reckon
Greenock 2 vs 2 USC Lion 2 very similar sides here in terms of results. very hard to pick either way
Angkor 6 vs Mt Compass 2 the one man team too strong for the Mt Compass XI
Flinders 1 vs one tree hill 4 one tree hill on form, shouldnt expect anythin less than a win for the billie goats here

Are Parafield Gardens even playing this week? Word was that last week against OTH and this week against Pitbulls they forfeited cos they had to go away to some camp out bush.

Yeah mate games been forfeited,
Does any 1 know y we have to play this game at a later date tho???
I thought if the other team forfeits u automatically get the 3 points.
The league has told us that this is not the case but can't seen any where in our fixture where we can replay this game.

If it's a forfeit you shouldn't have to play it and you get the points. If it's been merely postponed then that is another story.

yeh to be honest im thinking it should be a forfeit really. especially now its 2 games forfeitted. but ive heard they are only postponed, but like you said its hard to see where 1 catch up game will be fitted in, nevermind 2 games. i have heard talk of midweek games. have to see what comes of it as the season progresses. to be honest i reckon it should be a forfeit, but time will tell i guess

Uni b's drew 3-3 with torrens valley. Fair result given we're not too flash away from home. That said, both sides had ample opportunity to grab all 3 points. We were 2 up in the first half and had a bad 10-15 minute spell to let them back in

Ref was a bit of an oddball. Made some odd decisions during the game. Blew up in the second half to award torrens valley a free for what appeared to be nothing at all and when we pressed him for an explanation, we were told to drop it :?

For any rams posters on here, how is the fella who went off in the second half with (what looked like) an ankle injury?

Angkor a's have won the league today!
We drews 3-3 with flinders, only got ourselves to blame, gave away sloppy goals and yours truly missed a glourious chance to win it,
B's 3-2, lads did well to come back going down to 10 men from awful refereeing, can only apoligise for the way our player reacted and went for the ref, ref was bad but cant condone heading for the ref.Just glad our guys stopped him before he got there!

Lad with ankle injury was ok. Don't think it's too serious. At worst maybe ligament tear.

Rams A grade defeated Uni 6-0 in the end. Uni had some good players and seem quite even across A and B grade.

The Rams are starting to gather some momentum.

Angkor 4-2 Mt Compass - Compass 2-0 up at half time. Ref gave their 'Star' (who couldn't kick his own muscat in the 1st half) a very soft (cough, cough DIVE!) penalty 5 mins into the second half which gave them a boost, and they leveled 5 mins later through a loose ball in the box. Angkor went 3-2 up with half an hour to go, and then Compass settled bakc down. Compass were pushing hard and had a number of chances to equalise before Angkor scored with a counter and a long ball over the top which their left winger finished very well.

We are very disappointed not to have taken at least a point!

Compass B's lost heavily 9-1 I think (We didn't get a copy of the teamsheets back). Compass played well for 20 minutes, and then lost a couple of sloppy goals. They shredded the little confidence that our B's have left. 5 games at home on the bounce now, hopefully we can pick them up a bit!

A Team played well today....played with confidence and starting to get players back from injury. Very efficient in front of goal which was good to see!
