Re: Socceroos are coming to town..
Just a little bit of history for those not familiar with world events. OM
The King of Saudi Arabia is one of the greatest hypocrites in history with his repressive religious views.
During the 1960's and 1970's, many of the Saudi Princes, including the current King, were based in London by their father to study at English Universities and learn the ways of the West and to assist in introducing these values into Saudi society.
Unfortunately, the Princes became seduced by the more evil aspects of Western society and became so involved in the casinos of London that their excesses regularly made headlines in the Newspapers of the day.
They also became besotted with the 'Ladies of the Night' and were constantly pictured in the company of 'High-Class Call Girls' and frequented the brothels of London as if they were visiting old friends.
When the old King found out about this, they were called home and punished severely and forced to join the country's fledgling military to learn some personal discipline.
They were also placed under the stewardship of some of the hardline Imans and encouraged to observe strict Muslim practices and beliefs.
When the current King ascended the throne he subsequently enforced an even more strict version of Islam than that of his Father upon the people.
The Bin Laden family was one of the old King's favoured supporters and it was he that funded the extreme Islamic preaching that became the future Terrorist group founded by Osama Bin Laden.
Saudi Arabia is the most dangerous Islamic country in the region and is well known for funding any group that is anti-Iranian, including ISIS.

This was a cultural difference and not disrespectful as many racists are trying to paint it.
They are forbidden to stand in silence in a line for one minute and are required to abide by this law.

Following this thread from post to post don't take no more sense than putting on a pair of pants. My question to you is who's putting your pants on?Baresi wrote:You cannot be serious. Re: Socceroos are coming to town..
There was no need for a minute's silence. The incident wasn't football related.
I tend to go off on a tangent
