The same as the australians.
Which was what?
Two tests each but they were really lucky in their two and only won the second one by dubious sportsmanship and the 4th was only drawn because of rain when we were killing them so we’re very unlucky not to have won that one and so should have won the series and been photoed with the pretend urn
Funny you say that. I watched the Back Page the other night and Crash Craddock kept harping on about the Bairstow stumping being probably the best tonic for england and really wasn't worth doing because at the time Australia were moseying along quite well and england looked a bit disjointed and going through the motions (even with bazball). Then that incident seemed to get everyone on the team up and about and more galvanized etc. Throw in the "angry" home crowd and the little edges certainly helped them. Reckon he (Craddock) had a point.
Anyway, shoulda, coulda......... ;-)

The results are what they are and fair enough, no one can complain. Was a brilliant series, loved every second of it and yes some controversy and ifs/buts are all part of what made it great. It’s an old cliche but test cricket definitely the winner. Bring on the next one
Funny to note that England and Australia both been docked points for slow over rates when each completed test had a result, guess the answer is to bore everyone with 5 spinners on dirt, lose a few games but still get more points than a pace side. Now who would that benefit ?

No. 2 wins was not enough for either side to win.

Very good point here.
I think the 'over rates' are a bit of a joke when the Tests are still producing results.
If the games were ending in draws due to time wasting then dock points or issue sanctions but in this instance they didn't effect the games at all

Matters not one whit. Lucky (for you) that they don't aggregate home and away like in football. You can at least claim home draws as some sort of "victory" at present, even though that still doesn't give you the trophy to play with. :D

How soon you forget the "moral victory" in the face of a drawn series. We take cup home and will just smack you at home as usual. Try and at least get within 3-0 this time. ;-)

This whole "moral victory" thing just shows how much grasping you lot are doing to try and show England up. It's funny.

As I said, celebrating a draw.

please remind me what it is England (& Wales) and Australia play for when they compete in test matches.
