Barcelona are a quality side.

They pass the ball and move constantly. Many times they make a pass to a player who maybe only has one yard of space and you think...they are going to cough it up but they never do. Their ability to control a ball in tight situations is excellent and their passing is superb...so even when they are under extreme pressure they get out of it relatively easy.

A pleasure to watch a team who dont force the game but literally use the old addage of "let the ball do the work".

As a Liverpool and Madrid fan and my teams obviously not making the cup , it was good to see a team totally outplay, outclass and muscle the so called best team in History Madrid have 9 CL titles and the Pool have 5 so it will be a while until they are recognized in my books as the best team ever. Unlike united we showed spirit and determination when we where down in the final TGJ, I think it's time to support Rangers.......or maybe Porto .......... or maybe Wolfsburg....

can I say, from a neutrals prospective, I thought the game was a giant BORE. It looked nice in patches but so what. If you rave over that performance of the teams or Barcelona in particular and spectacle as a whole, then I think you are easily pleased.

It lacked any real passion, Man U and in particular SAF were out thought and out played on the night. Barcelona are a 'pretty' team to watch but I still think the Arsenal team a few years back were more dynamic and dangerous going forward. [yet they won S F A really].

The debate over who is a better player Messi or CR7 I'll leave up to the kids to argue over. I will say this though that Messi is the more humble of the 2 and CR7 the more arrogant.

Where to for Man U next season, the likely hood of no Griggs and Scholes, CR7 and Tevez and so many others not being able to step up to the plate.
