Ok, at last, the weak teams are dispensed with, let the finals begin with the 4 best teams fighting it out.

Our usual English contributors have gone full scale missing. Shall we alert the authorities, or will they resurrect when they can find something to whinge about Australia again?

India will PUMP either SA or Aus.

Please let it be AUS, I would love to see our bowlers, especially Starc get destroyed by India!

Our bowlers? So you want to see your own countrymen destroyed?

I hope whoever faces India in the final makes it a competitive match.

India deserve it, have played well all-round.

That said, whilst you're in it, you're a chance.

Gut feeling that Saffers might get up tonight, but hope I'm wrong.

Good thing you were wrong.
India should be red-hot favourites but in a Final - anything can happen!
Surprising that this could be the 4th straight World Cup where the host nation could be crowned Champions

10 in a row versus 8 in a row.

Pressure is on India.

India will destroy the Ozzies, the bowlers are not up to India's Bowlers.

They should win, but all it takes is one off day. Two best teams in it at least.

Australia have as much of a chance to win as India do. I sure hope we can pull it off and gain yet another trophy.

And another world cup for us.

It's good to still be at the top of world cricket.

Test champions, now ODI champions. Masterstroke risking Head (injured at start of tournament)- and sending them in after winning the toss, very brave.
Bravo! Well done Australia (yet again). :D

In this case, sorry, but India were the ones who didn't hang around for the presentation. And I can't see any ungracious winners?
Had India won, I can't imagine anyone not giving them the plaudits they would have deserved.

Totally won the match in all ways on the field unlike the England win where it was awarded on an administrative decision after match drawn. ;-)

Not forgetting we (like england) had been mentally worn out after a grueling ashes tour. Maybe our "HEADS" were better managed. ;-)

Stokes focuses on his job as captain and a player

Pat Cummins focuses on things which have no relevance to a captain or a player .
Captaining the Test Championship and ODI World Cup champions would have some relevance
