Re: Arsenal 2014/2015
And let's not forget this useless board who appear unwilling to do anything.
Arseblog sums it up perfectly when talking about Wenger's position:
If they can’t understand how damaging this is for the football club, or if they do understand it and refuse to address it properly, then our problems are even deeper than we think. We’re the old boxer being pummelled around the ring, and they’re the trainer refusing to throw in the towel – the damage we’re suffering is now on them.
Leaving a once great manager to be hounded out is an act of abject cowardice, but they ought to remember that once the human shield that is Arsene Wenger is gone they have nothing left to hide behind. It’s on them and what they do, and while people find it very hard to look beyond their frustration with the manager now, in time that will pass. In time we’ll more easily recall all the great things he did for this club and what he gave us as fans, and then we’ll ask what this board ever did and there’ll be no misty-eyed reminiscing at all because when push came to shove they hid – like kids behind the sofa watching a scary movie.

I hope Wenger stays so they won't challenge for any silverware next season as well.

Jeez, talk about Lucky Arsenal. Outplayed by Leicester and a fluke goal wins it.
What about that Sanchez. Great player, but what a twat.

Both clubs have quite a few twats in their ranks - especially in the coaching ones.

Apparently to some clowns, 2nd, 3rd and 4th in the EPL is now silverware. This whole race for CL is nonsense crap.
Silly to cheer on the prospect of owners getting more money.

did they deserve to win? not by a long shot.
Was a dull and boring game, and we were definitely lucky to get a deflected goal to win, but we weren't outplayed.
but a win is a win.
as for Sanchez. Not a good look. definitely comes off looking silly.

Anyhow, Sanchez shouldn't have been that close.

He tried to get a player sent off in the dying minutes of a game. The bloke's a champagne.
However, the ref should have sent him off anyway.

St Totteringham's Day cancelled.
Arsene Wenger, we want you to stay.
I wouldn't mind seeing Cech retire, he was the only decent Goon player.

BTW, when you resign Wenger, make sure you give a nice long expensive contract to the bug-eyed Kraut

Re: Arsenal 2014/2015
Sad thing is, I reckon the club would have already announced his contract extension except for the fact that they know how much it would pi$$ off the fans atm.Nice One Cyril wrote:BTW, when you resign Wenger, make sure you give a nice long expensive contract to the bug-eyed Kraut
imo, they're waiting for a time when everything is smiles of sunshine again (FA Cup win perhaps) to announce it. but not even an FA Cup win will do. Fans have had enough.
I love Wenger, but he just looks like he's out of ideas. I honestly hope he can pull another rabbit out of a hat and make us strong again. But I just don't see it happening. I hope im wrong though.
And why would Sanchez or Ozil sign on?
No CL. No league challenge. nothing looks like changing. Just the same lame season after season.
All this is a poor indictment of Wenger, and especially the club (owner, board) who have allowed this kind of failure to continue year after year.
We spend money, bring in some big names, the squad gets strengthened, and yet the same thing happens. Year after year after year. And still nothing changes.
no wonder we're being laughed at.

Got no time for the knobs at FanTV myself they represent only themselves, but I thought he handled it pretty well all told. His main point is valid too, the yids are scum they get brave when it’s 20 on to 1 but melt away when it evens up. Security for normal away fans has been cabernet there as far back as I can remember and needs sorting.God is an Englishman wrote:Funny seeing that mug "Robbie" getting untold abuse recently. It's hardly great at the Emirates either though with only one main way in/out. It's just arsenal don't have anything decent anymore.N5 1BH wrote:Got no time for the knobs at FanTV myself they represent only themselves, but I thought he handled it pretty well all told. Yeah times change. At £60 a ticket would be more far east tourists than Dalston or Holloway boys going these days, what's left of them. Still got a decent away base though.God is an Englishman wrote:It's hardly great at the Emirates either though with only one main way in/out. Why would he do that? They can still make a champions league spot. I was thinking they are fighting for a Europa Spot as well, but that looks pretty much guaranteed now.Nice One Cyril wrote:According to his Jose's latest interview, United may field an understrength side at Arsenal.

How much of it is mind games you never know, but he's saying that with their tougher fixtures (in theory), they likely won't catch City for fourth so their best chance of CL next year is to win the Europa League.God is an Englishman wrote:Why would he do that?
