Its to early to say who will win the league.

But these are the teams to watch.

17a- Metro- a quality side which push the ball around very well, will be a front runner for championship and cup round.
Birkalla- the dark horse, will achieve quietly, will be in the top half of the table.

17b- Enfield- going by their 15's last year they were a good side, were unlucky not to get into the A division this year.
Campbelltown- its campbelltown's second team, they have produced some good results in the trials, will be a surprise packet during the season.

17c- Croydon- a good side, have got some outstanding players, should win comfortably.
NAB- recrutied strongly over the break, won't be a walk over like previous years.

16- A much closer league then people believe it is.
Adel. City- strong team, have been demolishing teams in trials.
ABE- Good side, were 16s last year, so have an advantage for this season
Modbury- were at a high standard last season can expect the same this season
SASI girls- great one touch passsing, will cause upsets

15A- Para hills- a physical side which has what it takes to win the league.
Campbelltown- will be in the top 3, strong all over the park and they are very fit.
Metro- will also be fighting for a top position. have a quality side

Very impressive write up Antipasto.
I agree with your U16 comments.
Noticed that in the forum write ups, Adelaide City getting plenty of wraps for the 16s. What's happened to their 17s! Struggling to get players?

Playford 16's, 17 A+B's, 19's all finished in the top two respectively, in each of their leagues last season.
yet no one thinks that any success will come their way over these age groups for this season.
i know they probably wont achieve the exact same results this season, but still..?
most of these players are still running around for Playford, will be interesting to see some results.

U/17 A's

first of all adelaide hills are a much better side than metro stars, ive played them both and adelaide hills are a much more dangerous side, second of all, if you give birkalla no chance how come they only lost 2-1 to metro in the opening round with a few players missing and metro's goals only coming from 2 sloppy mistakes within the first 20 minutes of the game?

The teams to watch will be adelaide hills, birkalla, campbelltown, metro and croydon

its not an excuse, its just saying when we played adelaide hills in a trial, they were a much better outfit than metro were in round 1

Don't get ahead of yourself.
Under normal circumstances Adelaide Hills with all due respect would cop 5 from both Metro and the Red Devils.

Have to agree with you on this one, he doesn't seem to have been blessed with a great deal of intelligence. (just read some of his previous posts and judge for yourself)

Hey sc1, have you got 17s again this year or have you moved up to 19s ?
