they do deserve it, the only side that actually kept up their top form until the final minute, and the Germans trademark winning mentality just wasnt there.

only one team held Spain scoreless, and only one team pushed them all the way. Spain and Italia, officially the two best national teams in the world currently, campioni del mondo, and campeones de europa (or however the f*ck its said). :mrgreen: England who?

Spain played an outstanding game they deserved to win right from the start of the game!
I agree that Spain are one of the best teams in the world right now, but defintly not "Italia".

Xavi my pick for player of the tournament

and Aragones an outstanding manager, to bring all the catalans and basques into line, and still have his side playing good football.

Well done spain, how many points do they win in the FIFA ranking table? Because there are a bit over 100 points behind Italy. Will they get 150 FIFA points ?

I dont think so, Greece didnt play well from the start, Otto maye of been a good coach in 04 but he cant play players as old as him and then expect to win, like come on man, seriously!

Who cares what he did against Italy, all that matters is who won the tournament, Spain did & he scored the only & winning goal. I could say the same thing about Italy, what did they do in the tournament? Nothing, they were lucky to scrape through.

how many times on various sites i have read "spain v hollant would of been the best final"... dumb cunts, they were on the same side of the draw, they could only meet up in the semis... so STFU

lol and it wouldnt have been the best anyway.. cause Aragones would've absolutely destroyed Van Basten in the tactical side of things.

what we need is Hiddink coaching Holland, Lippi with Italia and anyone decent with France, and there are four powerhouses that can win tournaments and play good football to boot
