Are there any SASI players in this team? If not, why? Aren't most of the boys at SASI still at school? So shouldn't they be in the team, they are supposedly the best in the state.

Apparently SASI boys have week of testing to do and that's why they are not going.
Congratulations Rhys Sinclair last year Metrostars under 19 captain now playing for Gawler.

They put them all in a big hat and pulled them out one by one....

The leftovers were all dropped off by the side of the road and left to walk home. :D

ps I have no idea, but i have had a bad week at work and this helps relieve the tension....

Well done to Chris Atsikbasis. He is a very level headed, down to earth kid, and I hope he will go far.

Why aren't SASI players eligible? Is it because they play midweek and they wouldn't be able to play!

So clubs lose players and SASI don't.

ABE did not try and stop Chris from playing. The Schoolboys tried to stop Chris from playing for ABE on Saturday before he left.

Carl is a year 11 student at Pembroke. Very confident keeper that looks a little short but has a great leap. Could go far. I thought that the Unley high keeper Rick Borgas could be a future school boys keeper.

SA BOYS DRAW WITH WA

Western Australia and South Australia played a fiery 1-1 draw. After a scoreless first half, Daniel Hain for South Australia rattled in a free-kick and then a ten-men Western Australia side rallied to score late with Allan Claxton getting the final touch.

Friday will be all set for Finals Football. In the girls' final New South Wales will take on the New South Wales Inviational while the winner of Queensland and New South Wales will provide the top boys' team.

In the match of destiny, Queensland took their chances, including converting a penalty, to defeat the Australian Captial Territory 2-0. Nick Waddell and Jack Petrie were the scorers.

The big surprise of the day came with the opening match where Victoria upset the fancied New South Wales with a 1-0 win. James Sherman was the sole scorer of the match.

Day 5 Results

Boys:
Victoria 1 (James Sherman) d. New South Wales 0

South Australia 1 (Daniel Hain) drew with Western Australia 1 (Allan Claxton)

Queensland 2 (Nick Waddell, Jack Petrie) d. Australian Capital Territory 0

The game against NSW was also rough - referee threatened to send off SA coach. Must have been a rough game, as this is very unusual behaviour.
