Had I been aware of your comeback Swanny naturally you would have been included in the list of greats - Downs seem to be very rich in their stocks throughout the club of quality goalkeepers

knights B team keeper 'touch'. Played A's for us last year but due to his back being a constent problem for him he'd prefer to play b's or even on the field.
Least we forget the fact he loves the saturday night parties lol.. :D

I agree with Ribs on this one. The keeper for the Vikings is the best keeper we've played against this season I reckon.

For pure entertainment value, our As keeper is up there with the best.
Marge, don't discourage the boy! Weaseling out of things is important to learn. It's what separates us from the animals! Except the weasel.

Add to that no one has mentioned the PHW keeper - very agile, good football brain, very capable and a top bloke too!

You have got to be kidding me. Watched him set up a wall on Sunday to defend against a free kick. Worst wall I can recall ever seeing, left both sides of his goal unguarded, and then placed himself directly behind it, blind to the ball. So no surprise when Wester curled the ball around the wall into top corner, the keeper obviously didn't see the ball till it past the wall and just watched it as it hit the back of the net.

Best in Sunday Premier league, would have to be a close call between...
Hullsy (natural old school keeper who pulls off some great saves and makes them look totally effortless like no keeper I have seen)
Benny A (Always seems consistantly strong)
Matt P (Solid reputation, strong and consistant. Yes he has the occasional brain failure, but that goes to show that keepers are a little crazy. This just adds to reputation, as an opponent you never know what he will do)

B's
Azza (Very strong and agile keeper, as long as I have played against him I am yet to see him have an off day)
Rosco from the Vale, same as Azza.
The keeper from Gardens is also quite a good keeper. Also not too bad on the field too.
Ingle Farms keeper is not too bad, personally don't rate him as high as the other three but his record stands out this season.

As far as Div 2...
Ryan E from TTG is a great keeper, his height is definately an advantage to him, but he is also strong on the ground.
Vikings keeper looks good too from the limited amount of time I have seen him play.

Any keeper on his day is capable of a match winning performance, as any keeper is capable of making that one mistake that costs a team a game. As it has been said before, you have to be crazy to be a keeper, but personally I would not play any other position.
