Modbury Jets AFC Pre Season Training 2012

Post by mushrow »

Modbury Jets AFC 2012 Pre season will commence on Tuesday 10th of January at Ladywood Reserve, Modbury Heights. Corner of Ladywood and Milne roads, starting at 6:30 pm sharp. We have restructured our coaching set up.
Keith Hughes will continue as first team coach. We are very pleased to announce that Lenny Vella will coach the Reserves.
The C and Over 35 team coaches will be announced soon.
Ryan Mogg will be the Jet's newly appointed Coaching Co Ordinator. The Jets will be training at our home ground all season and we hope that this has a big impact in helping us in our quest to bounce back up.
Dixie Dean was hailed by another Mersey legend, Liverpool’s Bill Shankly, as “belonging in the company of the supremely great, like Beethoven, Rembrandt and Shakespeare.”

60 goals, never to be equalled.

Was Ryan coaching PHE last year? So, he gave up the coaching role in Div 1 and moved to a coaching director role? We he pull any PHE players over with him too?

Yes i did.

I have given up coaching at this point in time for a few reasons being as i'd like to 'play' for a few more years and i also have a young family I would like to spend more time with and together with more work commitments something had to give and it was the coaching for the time being.

Amateur players make their own decision which club they stay at or move to.

The young boys said unto him....."go up baldhead, go up"......so he did, rose like a salmon and nodded the ball into the net......1 nil! :-)

So are the guys going to be running around with those flash bike helmet lights taped to their foreheads which could interfere with heading practice or just sticking with the traditional hand held dolphin torches??

I heard he knows someone there who approached him, but that was as far as it went.
