Does seem to be a bit of it going around at the moment and then the cowards jumping in with their waa waaas and 'what happens on the field stays on the field crap'
Time for some righteous indignation

If you have any issues Freddie, why not front the man instead of coming
on a public forum and hiding behind your anonymity.

Sounds like the same encouragement towards violent retaliation that comes out of Nugget's disturbed mind.
A grown up response would be to condemn on field violence and say it was out of character for your player.
Your "grow some balls" response is simply childish.

Not at all Otto, Freddie clearly has issues with Scotty so why wouldn't he or she want to vent
their frustration to the man himself instead of slandering him on a public forum, no mention of
violence.
Tell me Otto if you have an issue with lets say a work mate or evan a boss, do you

1.share your view with this person and try and resolve the problem or

2.write on the back of the dunny door "the boss is a w anker"

Well, if he's just assaulted me as I was walking past his office door, I suppose I'd go to the boss & report him.
I wonder if his friends in the office would tell me to harden up & take it up with him personally instead?
And if they did, I wouldn't imagine they were meaning a friendly chat over a coffee.

By the way, IMO the correct thing to have done would be to advise the referee of what happened & report it to the league, rather than posting on this message board. (Even better would be to score twice & win the game, but that's not always an available option!)

It does not say that in the rule book. Anywhere - I've just looked.

Pretty sure that attempted justification won't hold any water in a disciplinary hearing or court room. Have a proper read of law 12 mate.

I figured it was a facetious comment, but there are evidently some posters on here with a low IQ, so who knows if it was a serious comment?
