Goosebump Songs

Post by Steve#4 »

What are the songs that come on and give you goose bumps...

Driving back from the Riverland yesterday a couple came up and got me thinking.

Mine:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BaTqrdZ_cgQ Rise Against Hero of War

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uIJdnnn_18E Millencolin The Ballard

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YsXEa61iD9A NOFX My Orphan Year (acoustic version) Recorded is good as well.

Yours???

No doubt you and tool are mentioned in the same sentence on a regular basis.

What gave you the idea to produce such a hilarious pisstake? It was the word 'Tool' wasn't it? You're a genius!

A pity it has had its bollox thrashed - gets hideously overused here in Australia.

Can't stand it anyway not just because of its scouse connortations but reminds me of a funeral I went to as a young fella when Gerry Marsden actually sang it for a mutual family friend.

the sentiment of the song is quite powerful and emotive.
