Telstra Football Anytime comes to Hindmarsh Stadium

The Football Federation of Australia and Adelaide United brought the Telstra Football Anytime program to Hindmarsh Stadium today.

Over 100 boys and girls aged between 6 to 12 years of age took part in the program designed to encourages children to play the game anywhere, anytime and with anyone. The excited young footballers were given the added bonus of being coached by six members of the Adelaide United squad.

Recognising the fact that children simply love to play, Telstra Football Anytime is designed so that participants can experience football through small-sided games, age appropriate activities as well as providing them with the basic skills and game awareness to play club football.

The program is being conducted over six days during the school holidays and the participants receive a kit of equipment that will enable them to participate beyond the formal conclusion of the program. This kit includes:
· a Nike Total 90 all surface football
· a Nike Brasilia equipment bag
· markers to use as goals and to mark out the field
· drink bottle

Registrations for the current session located at Hindmarsh Stadium have closed. But registrations are still open for the following sessions:

Gleeson College is the center manager for the tea tree gully area. weve just about finished out first program.
