Im not involved in either club in the following situation but am curious as to weather the right steps /outcome has been achieved:

CSL cup game Rostrevor vs Windsor Gardens

- Reff realises at around the 70th minute mark that Windsor Gardens have a player on the field that is not on the team sheet
- Reff tells the player to go off and informs Windsor Gardens that they have to play the remainder of the game with 10 men
- Result is a draw at full time
- Reff asks Rostrevor whether they want to play extra time or take the win
- Rostrevor take the win
- Situation goes before a review panel and they decide that extra time will be played to determine the result
- Review panel stipulate that Windsor Gardens can take the field with 11 players but the player that was sent of for not being on the team sheet can't play
- Decision appealed and now the whole game must be replayed with any eligible players allowed to play regardless if they where on the team sheet when the game was originally played.

Have the rules been applied correctly here?

Referee should have completed the game and the named player also to complete playing the game. Then the referee has to report to the competition organisers of what had happened. Competition orgornisers to place sanctions and if the game is to be replayed or to award the game to the opposing team.referee has no right to award the game to a team.
