Round 11

Post by juniorsupporter »

Pretty straight forward this week- except, I think, for WA/Fulham, which I think will be game of the round.

Uni/Cumby: 3-1
WA/Fulham: 1-2
Metro/Salisbury: 6-1
City/Campbelltown: a lot-none.

Uni 5-0 Cumby - I think Rojas is away but they will still manage 5 goals
Westies 3-1 Fulham - Westies to bounce back
Metro 3-1 Inter - Metro to cruise through
City 12-0 Ctown - City are so strong

This round may very well see the separation of the top and bottom four extend to 11 points.

Two very tangible "mini leagues" forming with Cumby, Fulham and Inter all within a point of the relegation playoff spot, and the Top 4 all within 4 points of each other. Perhaps one of the tighter races for the minor premiership in recent years.

Uni/Cumby: 2-0 Was 0-0 at half time. Cumberland are playing much better than in recent years. I think Maxie is doing a great job. Hopefully they have another win or two coming to them.
WA/Fulham: 5-2 Was 3-2 until late in the game. Dodgy offside call denied an equaliser for Fulham.
Metro/Inter: 2-0 Didn't see this one, but am surprised at the low scoreline.
City/C'town: 11-0 Admire C'town for their spirit and working until the last whistle...

Next week's match of the round, IMO: Uni/Metro

Although Fulham/Cumby could be a good one as well...there's getting to be a lot at stake.
