NRL and AFL don't have to worry about Australian Football as the constant infighting does it for for them.Brian the Postman wrote:Remo is back, he helped run old soccer into the ground so that should keep the NSL nostalgics happy.zzz wrote:same old clique

I hope that expansion for next season will be the first big decision of the new board.

Is that the old Titanic that sunk in 2012 or the New Titanic that Clive Palmer's building in China, due to be completed in 2020, at last count?
(And due to sink shortly thereafter)

Re: FFA Board of Directors
Craig Foster didn't run necessarily with the expectation that he would win but rather to bring some transparency to the FFA election process, which he has definetely done so kudos to him for that.

Re: FFA Board of Directors
The game was supposed to be reformed. It wasn't, it was just passed onto someone else to exploit on a larger scale.ozzie owl wrote: Do you want a return to the good old days how football was run?
We're still waiting for reform and implementation of the key recommendations of the original Crawford Report which saw the end of the NSL.
The game, the quality of players has gone backwards during the time of the FFA. At least the environment under the old administration still provided breathing space for a reasonable player development system by the standards of this country which saw a squad that was able to defeat Uruguay to qualify for the World Cup.
Now you have to rely on mercenaries from Scotland and Serbia to field a side that is competitive against Asian zone teams.
