Ponderous display by Manchester United in their 1-3 Semi-Final defeat to Chelsea @ Wembley.
London derby now for Chelsea in the Cup Final versus Arsenal, 4.15am (Adelaide time) Sunday 2nd of August.

Funny, I thought that too, it's like they've forgotten how to play. It doesn't seem like a real season somehow, I feel like I'm going to wake up and it was all a dream. And Spurs have won the league, the FA Cup, the League Cup, the Champions League and sold Aurier for $200 million.

Saw a replay yesterday and to be honest I reckon the still pic makes it look much worse than it actually was. Maybe a standard 50/50 with Arnald barely clipping his raised calf. Would like somebody to show me the difference between Eddies red card v Leicester last week & AA's tackle 10mins into the 2nd half

Re: EPL 2019-2020
Yeah, nah, yeah - you’re right, formerly the Isolated One.
I shoulda looked further back for the F.A. Cup thread, last used by anyone way back on the 6th March and posted there.
But for sort of latest news it’s loosely ok, innit? Still mentioned 4 EPL Clubs in the two Semis and now two EPL London Clubs in le Grand Finale @ Wembley on the 2nd August. Other forumites understood that too and posted comments without getting picky.

Not sure he had much choice, they're not a deep squad and they badly miss Maddison in the middle. I'm no United fan but fair play to OGS, he's done a great job with them and I like the way he talks, no hiding behind excuses, same as Lamps. Two good young managers.

Re: EPL 2019-2020
lets not get carried away.....in terms of points, I think we achieved as many as last year but because both Arsenal and Chelsea dropped off we were able to claim 3rd thus Champions League. $$$$$$ spent on Maguire, Fernandes and Wan-Bissaka shouldve resulted in more points.I'm no United fan but fair play to OGS, he's done a great job with them and I like the way he talks, no hiding behind excuses, same as Lamps. Two good young managers.
What we need:
- a back up keeper to really put pressure on De Gea
a left back to cover Shaw
a CB to partner Maguire
a DM to replace Matic
a AM to cover and give Fernandes a rest
a RW to cover Rashford & Martial

My cousin who lives ManUre believes that Matt Ryan is being looked at as a replacement for De Gea, if he continues to make mistakes.MegaBonus wrote: ↑Mon Jul 27, 2020 10:47 amlets not get carried away.....in terms of points, I think we achieved as many as last year but because both Arsenal and Chelsea dropped off we were able to claim 3rd thus Champions League. $$$$$$ spent on Maguire, Fernandes and Wan-Bissaka shouldve resulted in more points.I'm no United fan but fair play to OGS, he's done a great job with them and I like the way he talks, no hiding behind excuses, same as Lamps. True? Not nice from a team that just lifted such a prestigious trophy.

Re: EPL 2019-2020
Whilst I detest anything to do with the Woolwich Wanderers and would love to see them come unstuck and shiraz off back to south of the river, you've obviously never run a business. In a crisis a business does what is necessary to survive or everyone loses their jobs, including the unfortunate 55. Ozil has a contract, not much they can do about that, despite the obscene amount they pay the oxygen thief.

Plus you were closer to getting relegated than winning the leagueMegaBonus wrote: ↑Mon Jul 27, 2020 10:47 amlets not get carried away.....in terms of points, I think we achieved as many as last year but because both Arsenal and Chelsea dropped off we were able to claim 3rd thus Champions League. $$$$$$ spent on Maguire, Fernandes and Wan-Bissaka shouldve resulted in more points.I'm no United fan but fair play to OGS, he's done a great job with them and I like the way he talks, no hiding behind excuses, same as Lamps.
