Asking who the current world cup winners in the format of the title of the thread, asking who the current world cup winners in the format being played today isn't relevant then.

It does however prove who the clear best country in the world at white ball cricket is though.

Where are India in the ODI rankings?
Who recently beat India by 10 wickets?
Cafe factor, 0

Facts are, India rated no1 in T20. England not the BEST white ball side!
You are showing you have minimal cricket knowledge here.

So, who are then?
Care Factor = 0
India ranked no1 in T20 according to ICC
England not the BEST white ball side!

C'mon, let the poms enjoy their success. I'm impressed that they won a world cup final without having to go into extra time, or a super over.

My theory?

World cup winners v meaningless series where you best our B grade in the first game.

As was sung yesterday

This game means shiraz all
This game means shiraz all
Double world champions
This game means shiraz all

It' called "support", when you don't get tonsee your side very often even a friendly is good enough to go to.

Was a good atmosphere, only because the English made it so though. Not as good as the MCG last week though.

Con M wrote: Thu Oct 21, 2021 3:12 pm Wot a joke of a so-called “World Cup”!

FIFA should have patented/trademarked the words “World Cup” as the truly world-wide tournament so this crickette mob couldn’t use it.

I sense no-one gives a faaarrk about this T19 bashathon. Certainly Warner doesn’t.

Even to bashathon aficionados I pose this question: do ya care more about this joke or an Ashes series or a Test series against India or South Africa?
Well the WC in Qatar is getting very close to a sad joke .

They said crowd of 10k must have counted seagulls as well .

I think the two Tests against West Indies might struggle for decent crowds as well .

3-0, easy as pie.

Head must be considered for T20's opening spot moving forward

Interesting Squad, Marsh getting over injury, Warner hasn't played in ages after getting dropped from the IPL team, Maxwell cant hit the ball off the square and has other issues, Stoinis couple of decent innings of late, Green very inconsistent, hardly played any IPL, Wade hasnt played since Shield final apart from one cameo in the IPL Starc been smashed all over the park in the IPL, Hazelwood coming back from injury, Agar selected just to piss everyone off im sure

Having said all that they will probably come out and win the thing

They do seem to lift for big tournaments, but the game seems to be moving at a pace quicker than our blokes usually adapt.
Thought it was an ideal time to blood at least a couple youngsters on the way up. Lot will rest on shoulders of Head, Marsh..
