Pakistan v australia
Good to see the aussies doing what they do best and having a whinge.
The pitch wasn't good enough, the pitch was too flat, the pitch was dull, the pitch didn't have enough for the bowlers.....

Re: Pakistan v Australia
How they went in with only one specialist spinner is beyond me. Road or not, we couldn't get them out if we bowled another 150 overs I reckon!
Should they have declared when around 250 ahead?
Either way, a tame draw but with much to think about before the next test.

I guess the ICC and match referee must be classified as whingers too.God is an Englishman wrote: ↑Wed Mar 09, 2022 9:33 am Good to see the aussies doing what they do best and having a whinge.

Below average. Nothing compared to the adjectives from aussies.

Coming from a person who's nation embraces draws as near wins (or not losing), I imagine you'd love pitches such as the one produced in the first test.God is an Englishman wrote: ↑Fri Mar 11, 2022 10:10 amBomber wrote: ↑Fri Mar 11, 2022 9:48 amI guess the ICC and match referee must be classified as whingers too.God is an Englishman wrote: ↑Wed Mar 09, 2022 9:33 am Good to see the aussies doing what they do best and having a whinge.

^^^^^ selective use of the term....why not explain it in context to ICC regulations....let me help you....Unread post by God is an Englishman » Fri Mar 11, 2022 9:40 am
Below average. Nothing compared to the adjectives from aussies.
As outlined by the ICC, any pitch that incurs a rating below ‘Average’ is handed a set number of demerit points depending on the severity of the negative rating. Once five demerit points are accrued over a five-year period, that venue can be temporarily suspended from hosting international cricket.

Re: Pakistan v australia
It was a road - but both teams got to play on it so a draw was always likely to be the outcome.
My issue was with the scoring rate of the Pakis - went at less than 3 an over for 2 full days despite only losing 4 wickets.
That killed the Test (or at least any hope of a result for either side) but they played not to lose and succeeded.
Onto the next one

There's a difference between "not great" "below average" and the adjectives used by some aussies..
Do I really need to explain that to you?

you explain nothing all you do is orate and expect people to follow you. your loose use of the term whingeing when it suits you is proof enough. you do it more than anyoneGod is an Englishman wrote: ↑Sat Mar 12, 2022 3:45 pmWhy the need for racism?Just Dave now wrote: ↑Fri Mar 11, 2022 12:18 pmlol if an aussie says it wasnt great its a whinge but if the pom says it wasnt great its a reason , such delusionGod is an Englishman wrote: ↑Fri Mar 11, 2022 11:39 amIt wasn't great. Re: Pakistan v australia
This test is heading for the same result, terrible tactics by both teams, not sure why Cummings didn't declare the innings with 45-60 mins left of play and have a crack at them, and WTF was with that bowling and the wicky standing on the leg side of the spin bowler, come on man

Re: Pakistan v australia
They consider the pitch will break up as cracks are starting to appear. Doubt they an bowl the Paki's out twice in remaining time.
Depends on who the Paki's have placed their win bet on with the bookies.

Assuming we declare before lunch day 4, there should be plenty time to bowl them out on a deteriorating wicket.

This shows the difference between England and australia. Such language is unacceptable in England and can see you eating porridge.
The irony of the conversation about bookies so shortly after shane warne died.
