Why not. We eliminated all the British and Dutch clubs we faced in Europe in the last twelve months. Zürich could be an unknown quantity though.

I didn't specifically say last year, just the last twelve months. In that time we beat both Celtic and Linfield.

Yet another game where Arsenal get outplayed and then get super lucky. Wonderful strike from Saka's chest, about which he knew absolutely nothing.

BTW, this is why you always send Saka to his right

Jog on Cyril

Squad rotation, played on artificial pitch, freezing cold night & against a team that was 14 games unbeaten at home in Europe. Good 3 points in the end.

Arsenal out, 1-1 then 3-5 on penalties to Sporting CP.

Scorers in the shoot-out were Odegaard, Saka & Trossard. Martinelli missed. I do wish they would get the shorter guys to take those pens. Taller ones like Martinelli are easier to read by goalies on which side the forward will aim for.

Oh well, now to concentrate on the EPL and to keep ManCity at bay.

Oh boy, this should be good. On what basis do you make that assertion? Are you saying that a team of midgets (goalkeeper aside) would never lose in a penalty shootout?

Nah Cyril & Costanza - I’ve seen that down the years. Some of the tall blokes are so predictable to read which side they’re placing the pen. Some can hardly gather their feet beneath them. I don’t care about your predictable insults.

Anyhow, now for Arsenal to concentrate on the EPL title. The beast Haaland hit five past Leipzig the other day and is looking ominous. He crashed past Leipzig’s centre-backs so easily like a bull in a china shop.

Not often a team scores 4 goals and the other none and yet doesn't win.

Manchester United threw away a commanding Europa League quarter-final lead against Sevilla as late Tyrell Malacia and Harry Maguire own goals saw the first leg end in a chaotic 2-2 draw.

Chris Nicholl once scored all four goals in a 2-2 draw.

They were terrible, eagleman!

Surely they need a better attacking forward. Martial has had a lot of time to prove he is the real deal. Mega Manchester United into the marketplace me thinks for such an elusive attacker.
