Re: Australia v India
Head back in, 3 specialist spinners and only one quick? Hmmm, the spinning deck still playing on their minds. You would think that Smith, Head and Labuschagne could collectively make up the third spinner?
Money is on India even with Aussies winning the toss (again).

Most naive and mentally poor series I've seen from us in quite a while, if not ever and we are only halfway through. Langer will be pissing himself laughing.

I'm sure the players will respond in the right way:
1. Undertake a review of the coaching staff.
2. Commence interview process for the next coach.
3. Under the captain's guidance review all current cricket sponsorships.

Re: Australia v India
Assuming players fit enough would go with this eleven next:
1 Khawaja
2 Head
3 Labuschagne
4 Smith (c)
5 Handscomb
6 Green
7 Carey
8 Starc
9 Lyon
10 Boland
11 Murphy
Surely 2, 3 and 4 above can collectively be the third spinner.

Just saw he (Pat) should be back in time for next test. So Boland or Starc will miss out.Cooper wrote: ↑Mon Feb 20, 2023 1:39 pmPretty good selections there, can't disagree.

Re: Australia v India
Whilst a long way to go, it seems as though losing the toss worked in our favour this time.
On that deck, I wouldn't want to be chasing more than 70 or 80 in the fourth innings.

Re: Australia v India
The fact I'm still concerned that we could lose this (despite the dominant position we're currently in) shows how much faith I have in them at the moment.
