He would rather go to China catch up with some old mates ;-) ;-)

Dominic Perrottet will have time to visit Adelaide ...
Not sure he is a fan of AFL. He was more paranoid about cricket dates. ;-)

It's great for SA, great for footy and great for all the local businesses bringing in big money.

Gather round staying in Adelaide for 3 more years is great.

Other states whingeing they aren't considered (yet). It was ok when Perth & Brisbane got the AFL Grand Final when Victoria was in lockdown.
Perth - too far for most, Brisbane has the Rugby version and Sydney has enough going on and isn't really a footy city.
Adelaide ticks most, if not all the boxes.
Reckon they should consider Glenelg Oval next time (upgrade lights etc) - tram goes there, could block off Jetty Street, and add to carnival atmosphere.

Truth be told when the Croydon game finished, I went inside clubrooms, watched the game thinking that the third quarter was the last quarter as I wasn't paying much attention. Started to celebrate until after some TV ads I thought, what, no after game celebrations, interviews, awards etc? Then I saw "3 QTR time" score and thought, here we go again - probably blow it like last year and low and behold.........

Watched the Port and Crows games on the weekend.
The Port game had some of the worst umpiring against Port i have ever seen (and i hate port) but they deserved the win.

So so unfortunate that the Crows lost, they had it, if only they could kick straight, they would have won by 30 plus.

Umpiring was pretty good for most of the game except for the goal square high tackle that wasnt paid to Collingwood.

You’re kidding, Poppy! This site, Football news.com.au is for the real football, you know the INTERNATIONAL World game. Cooper (and you) are just mugs sucked into the wall-to-wall AFL TV & publicity machine. Just f***r*k the f***r*k off!

Not really because gather round was signed for 3 more years so 2027 at this stage there is no gather round

And it has to be Tassie Devils, farrrk warner bros
