Will 'postponed' games be played at a later date or scrapped?

The league usually just put it off long enough and pray it doesn’t affect the final table.

Tried to reschedule a game for about 4 months last season and they just decided it should be 0-0.

Sharks might end up a game every 3 days at this point.

Game I was at today saw a green shirted ref do both A's & B's.

Failed twice to gove a DOGSO red card
Gave a penalty for a high foot
Admitted he was wrong but said he couldn't change his mind.
Showed a red card to a spectator.

Good to have a ref but they need to not make basic errors in law.

Was the spectator a player of either game?

I've seen this happen multiple times in Amateur League games. The ref's in all instances have threatened to abandon match if the spectator doesn't comply, requesting the person either be 50m away from the pitch, or "off the reserve" i.e. stood in carpark / behind fence.

Seen that happen but the law is very clear on who can be shown a red card.

It shows a lack of knowledge of the laws if the ref shows it.

seen this a lot too and dont blame them sometimes but red cards to spectators is pretty silly , does this mean they get one game automatic suspension , lol

I believe the league can ban spectators. Good luck policing that one in public spaces.

I know of one club who tried to get a spectator permanently banned from attending their games because he was giving "dirty looks".

Watched the Adel Eagles v Seaford game on Sunday and ref threatened to abandon game because spectator was heard swearing (non-threatening).
Side-line banter between both sets of supporters was actually quite funny at times, and pretty tame compared to what I have seen in 50 plus years watching the local game.
Anyway, just think it's way over the top and if someone can find me a senior's game where no spectator ever swears, please fill me in, as it would probably be a record of significance.

Was it the female ref? I think she's a good ref, but years ago she warned us pre game that she had a big problem with the C word, and would abandon the game if she heard it used, whether directed at her or not.

Every game I've ever played in would be abandoned then if she was the ref.

I'd like to see what the league would do if she abandoned a game for someone swearing.

They’d wait till the end of the season, ignore multiple emails, calls and messages and then just ride it out till the issue went away.

Modbury SC and Rowe Park had a female ref on the weekend and she did a brilliant job.
Hopefully more females get involved.

The league finally needs to grow some balls & kick this team out the association & not allow them to reregister under a different name. The competition as a whole already has too many teams & not enough referees so it's about time they take a stance!

The SASSL are becoming a joke league. I don't believe the present board are representing the best interests of the clubs at the moment. They say they are against poor behaviour and will take action to stamp it out. I know for a fact they were given video and audio proof of racial abuse by a player towards a ref earlier this year and decided not to persue it. The feedback was that the ref did not report so it did not happen. If a club is willing to stand up against this behaviour they should be supported by the league not ignored like they were. If they are not willing to stand by their constitution and rules they should resign.

All over Adelaide Now as well with the footage, front and centre which i am not condoning this incident at all because it is downright disgusting, but the real football haters will now have a field day with this when after what the Matilda's did on Saturday we should be riding on a high right now

Was this one with the linesman being attacked?

Saturday Div 6 game abandoned with 10 to go due to a bad injury.
