Well done to both teams on the most thrilling of series.
Australia remains the more dominant team by retaining the Ashes while England becomes the 'moral' victor.
My key takeaways
Unless Warner has something over the ACB he should be dropped or be given the opportunity to walk.
Smith has at least one more Australian summer in him
Losing the GOAT was costly but beneficial in giving Murphy experience
Which current Aust batsmen are knocking on the door?
Australia's tactics were questionable at times but is Bazzball here to stay? Not sure it will work in Australia in scorching heat if the English roses are required to bowl twice as many overs than Australia.

Drawn series and it will now be at least 26 years since Australia win a series in England..
What an ending for Broad. A 6 off his last ball as a batsmen and a wicket with his last ball as a bowler.
Is that the last we see of Jimmy?
Is that the last we see of Warner?
Is that the last we see of Smith?
Jimmy will go around again I think to try get to 700 wickets - definitely last Ashes series though and the worst I’ve seen him bowl in a long time.
If Warner somehow gets picked again he’ll retire this summer but he should be walked.
Smith will retire this summer I reckon.
Cracking series and plenty of late nights were had.
Disappointed not to win the series - plenty of talking points though and we have to wait another 4 years to try and win over there.
Successful tour. Won world test championship and retained the ashes. Looking forward to the next 4 or 5 nil win here next time to keep in with the norm.

Heard a little rumour that the POMS are still sooking......ignored repeated requests from the Aussies for a post-game drink but were ignored....
Whingeing about saying NO to a beer. Add it to a very long list.

Strange how the aussies didn't seem to care when Cummins got the ball changed though.
typically self-righteous.....we all know that the issue wasn't simply because the ball was changed....
anyway...got a mate in Pakistan who told me that he just bought a new BMW....apparently a sure bet came through overnight...
I'm not much of a cricket follower, but isn't the ball usually replaced by one of similar wear and tear? Pictures of the ones shown didn't seem anything alike. Low and behold, the ball behaved much differently once changed.

Having an Aussie parent automatically makes you Australian. Being born in Australia doesn't automatically make you Australian.
cooper wrong AGAIN.
Just the usual cause you say so it seems. Predictable
In this case he's correct.

Lots of aussie whingeing today.
Ohh we don't like the ball the umpires chose.
Well, usually you do have to wait 80 overs before getting a new ball.
Strange how the aussies didn't seem to care when Cummins got the ball changed though.
Toooooo easy.
Ashes trophy ours (still) & World Test Champions!
If that was just a wind up then well played. Hard to tell the difference between an aussie wind up whinge and the standard whinge this series.
Only one, we're double world champions.
There has been far more whingeing from the home side this series. Nice to see your lot celebrate "the way they played" whilst winning is actually secondary in their mindset.
Wanna beer?
Not now.
Maybe later......
