I'll pick a coach with playing experience at a senior level every time.

would you pick Maradona or Wenger as a coach?

Unless Diego only "staged" his death, I still WOULD NOT pick Wenger

Probably not at EPL level, but at other senior level competitions I'm sure they can deliver more than most.

West Adelaide regrets to announce the resignation of senior coach, Jim Tsekinis. After guiding the senior team for the past 2 seasons, Jim has decided to step down from his role, effective immediately.

During his tenure, Jim has played an instrumental role in the success and growth of our program. His passion for the sport, commitment to player development, and building of club culture by reconnecting with past players has been invaluable to the club. We extend our sincere gratitude to Jim for his hard work, dedication, and the positive impact he has had on our players and the entire West Adelaide community.

Would have lost the players confidence by now.

Can't speak for all the players, but that's BS. Sure he was tough but only the snowflakes would have been upset by him.
