“Gawler Eagles FC wishes to advise that senior coach, Omar Hassan, has departed the club. We are grateful for Omar's contribution, having come on board for the last seven weeks of the 2022 season. Although the club finished wooden-spooners, Omar made an immediate impact, so much so the club qualified for finals this season, finishing 6th. We wish Omar and his family well, and thank him and assistant coach, Deng Akoy, for what they have achieved for our Gawler community.
Next week the club will announce its 2024 senior coach lineup.
